I love Lagoon mode for my tank. On my 24g Nano I have it set to like 60% right now. I also have the return and a Tunze 6015 though.

I don't have one, but I think there are just so many modes and settings that you might just want to go through all of them, and see what you like best. Also, obviously you'll want to pick the mode(s) that is best for your tank's inhabitants. Good luck!

most common mode used is reefcrest.....nutrient transport mode is also used on the new model quite frequently.....I find myself alternating between long pulse and reefcrest mode....I only can run mine at 60% though or else sand starts flying in my shallow tank...

I'm a little worried abou how much one of these would blow my sand around in my 30 rimless cubes? I'm also worried that if I have it turned up for wave making is it going to make water dump over the edges of my tank?

If you guys have any input I would appreciate your thoughts.
Chad.
What?! You pooped in the refrigerator, and ate the entire wheel of cheese?! I'm not even mad.... That's actually amazing!

I have a Mr.Aqua Rimless tank that is 24x18x18 I keep it on reef crest at around 80% and the flow is great. I've turned it almost all the way up on long pulse mode just to see the wave effect in motion, it got pretty close to splashing out of my tank, but I think if I turned it down and tried it I wouldn't have any problem.

will they blow your sand around? yes
will they create a wave that crashes over the tank? yes

But- they are so adjustable that any concern you have can be prevented and fine tuned to your liking....best purchase I have ever made for my tank...
