It's been a while since I've been involved in the marine side of the hobby. About 12 years. When I broke down my reef tank in the late 90's there were still certain fish that were taboo, due mostly to feeding issues. Among these were orange spot file-fish. Imagine my surprise when I picked up a publication last month and not only were these fish being successfully kept but they are now
breeding them.
My question is, have there been any advancements made in the past decade for keeping some of the more difficult Chaetodon species such as melapterus and austriacus?
These two fish have been part of my "dream list" for as far back as I can remember. Can I have them now or are they still verboten?
