Topic: Aiptasia controll? Posted: February 04 2006 at 3:36pm |
So I know the common methods to rid aiptasia and would like to try and inject the one I have before it spreads but I don't know where to get a syringe.
Where can I get a syringe?

First you will need to go to a costume shop. Buy some light blue scrubs. Make sure its the kind with the black draw string. Next park in the parking complex near the University of Utah hospital. Walk into the front door and start running towards the stairs. Go up 2 flights and exit to your left. The third door on the right is a supply closet. If anyone stops you, ask them where the code is and keep on running. When nobody is looking, slip into the closet. There is a huge supply of syringes from 1ml up to 60ml. For aiptasia id recommend the 30ml syringes. Once you have what you're looking for, simply walk out.

I usually just stop at the neighborhood crack house...
Actually, check with the pharmacist or livestock supply store (such as cal-ranch or IFA).

they are also available online. I know scientific supply stores such as www.cynmar.com have them, but not sure if they are the cheapest.

I spend way too much at this store. Their prices are very cheap on everything else i've bought.

If you just need it for a short time to get rid of a few aiptasia, and
are in salt lake, I would be willing to lend you mine if you don't want
to buy one. I'm in Holladay.

Well if anyone else has an issue with getting a syringe, I work for a large Animal Health Supply Company and can get these all the time.. The supplier Kendall health supplies us to supply vets. The glue that holds these boxes together are not always the best glue that is used in the factory and we cannot sell them like this. So i can buy them really good price if needed. let me know.
P.S. I cannot get interceptor

Oh BTW, you will want the largest needle you can get. I don't remember the gauge, but it's big and I couldn't imagine getting stuck in the backside using one. They need to be large to let the kalk slurry pass through. If you try it using an insulin needle it'll just clog up. Good luck!

I got insulin needles and used B ionic part one instead of the kalk slurry.
Looks like it worked but i'm sure i'll find more.
