I havent been testing for everything in my tank.  And until lately I have had really good luck just keeping track of PH Salinity and Nitrates.  Everything has been struggling and I read somewhere that Salifert kits arent that great and that Lamotte was the way to go.

I found this on Ebay:

LAMOTTE COMPLETE SALT WATER TEST KIT

http://cgi.ebay.com/LAMOTTE-COMPLETE-SALT-WATER-TEST-KIT_W0QQitemZ140276724889QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140276724889&_trkparms=72%3A1421|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14#ebayphotohosting

Will this have everything that I would want to test for?  And is this the best brand to buy?

Jeff

Lamotte are good kits, but typically expensive.

I've always found Salifert kits to be very easy to use and pretty accurate (as near as I could tell, compared to testing in our water lab here at work).

I asked the seller the model number and they responded with LMAQ2

This is what the model is which is "FISH FARM 9" and is for freshwater.... Will this work for saltwater testing?

For that cost you could buy a Sera-USA master kit, and it has more common test kits (most people don't want CO2 or O2).

The seller corrected themselves and said it is the LMAQ4 which I cant find for cheaper than 269.99$.  I purchased it for 99$.  Hopefully I don't regret it.
