QuoteReplyTopic: Testing Kits? What is best to use? Posted: October 22 2008 at 12:46pm
I havent been testing for everything in my tank. And until lately I have had really good luck just keeping track of PH Salinity and Nitrates. Everything has been struggling and I read somewhere that Salifert kits arent that great and that Lamotte was the way to go.
I've always found Salifert kits to be very easy to use and pretty accurate (as near as I could tell, compared to testing in our water lab here at work).
I asked the seller the model number and they responded with LMAQ2
This is what the model is which is "FISH FARM 9" and is for freshwater.... Will this work for saltwater testing? http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories/2232/Fish-Farm-9-Test-Kit-Freshwater
The seller corrected themselves and said it is the LMAQ4 which I cant find for cheaper than 269.99$. I purchased it for 99$. Hopefully I don't regret it.
