Jeopardy! Facts:
  • The highest cumulative amount won by a single "Jeopardy!" player is $3,255,102 in cash, bestowed on Brad Rutter of Lancaster, Penn.
  • Ken Jennings broke the record for the most consecutive games played by winning 74 games in a row during the 2004-2005 season, resulting in winnings of more than $2.5 million.
  • The March meeting of the WMAS will showcase a "Jeopardy!" style game format to educate and entertain its members and guests alike.
  • NASA astronauts presented "Jeopardy!" clues from the space shuttle Atlantis, while docking with the International Space Station.
  • The "Jeopardy!" production staff has six researchers and 10 writers whose jobs are to create and assemble categories and questions for the series.
  • Teams of hobbyists will compete to answer questions about marine fish, marine environments and WMAS club events - among other things - at the March meeting of the Wasatch Marine Aquarium Society
  • More than 300 game shows have come and gone since "Jeopardy!" premiered in syndication in 1984
  • Some amazing prizes will available at the WMAS March meeting. Come out and have some fun, meet some people and learn some interesting fishy facts!

Whether you know it all or know it a little,  this meeting will be a great time to hang out with fellow hobbyists and have some FUN!
