At some point sooner rather than later I would add 10 more snails. Do you have a variety like Astrea, Margarita and Cerith. (Nasarrius don't count). This will ensure that a problem algae bloom doesn't surprise you in a month or two.

I know that bridelveil trap will work great, but I sure like my worm solution. This thing is creepy but it sure is fun to watch. It sticks those long arms deep into crevaces and pulls things out that none of the other clean up crew could ever reach. As long as it doesnt crawl out of the tank and into my bed, its all good LOL

i have cerith and astrea's i seen some peach color snails i thing im gona get this weekend they would ad some nice color versis the same boring colored snails

I loved my arrow crab!  Those legs are not even strong enough to lift itself above water ;)

I love arrow crabs, but agree with what Will and Mark has stated above.  Also keep in mind that one day that arrow crab my get lucky and catch your favorite fish.

I know this is a definite newbie question but what is it that the bristle worms do that is bad besides growing to huge numbers?

Some people are grossed out by them and find then unsightly but they are good and a valuable part of the clean-up crew.
