I also have a fireshrimp and a strawberry crab.  The strawberry i got free from hitchhiking on a rock.  I rarely see it.  The fireshrimp is shy but doesn't hide to the point where I rarely see him like the strawberry.

I'm wondering something though.  I have been having a problem keeping zoos.  Something is eating them and I don't know who the culprit is.  But whatever is doing it is eating them at night.  I have been suspicious of the strawberry but I can't honestly say it's him.

I also have 2 emerald crabs and 2 cleaner shrimp as well.  I know its not either of these because I see them constantly every day and they are never bothering the zoos.

Anyone else had this suspicion of the Strawberry Crab?

Dustin, you DO have something that eats shrimp. If the strawberry will eat an emerald I would suspect the sexy shrimp would be an easy target. I tried adding a trio of sexy's to my tank and I believe my thought to be dead peppermint shrimp did them in. Could have been my six line or Royal Gramma too, I guess. Sexy shrimp need an absolutely friendly environment.
