Does anyone out there have any experience, opinions, or thoughts on the hamilton 14000K MH Euro bulbs?  They're pricey but are they any good?

I'm not sure if this helps but I just replaced my Hamilton 10K bulbs with Ushio 10K bulbs.  The Hamilton 10K were okay but they didn't always fire up quickly with my PFO ballast.  The Ushio bulbs are better IMO and have a more crisp white light.

I really can't say what the 14K bulbs would be like but my guess is that they are quite blue and don't put out the same volume of light...  If you like the blue look and don't want to use any actinics then they might be a good choice...

The 1400k bulb you are looking at is a much more blue bulb then a 10k bulb anyways.

If you are looking for more white light get a 10k if you are looking for a more blue hint then get the 14k there are many good bulbs out there.
