You are correct, you want one to shut off when ph is too low. co2 lowers ph

I control mine off of my ACIII so I'm not really familiar with the Milwaukie controllers.

The SMS 122 is what I use on my Ca Reactor. Works great, although I don't think my ph has ever dropped low enough to turn it off.

I also use the SMS 122 to control CO2. It works great! I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Milwaukee again.

thanks everyone for your replys . for you that own this ph controller how come it says that it will shut the co2 off when the ph gets to high if the co2 lowers your ph dont you want it to shut off your co2 when your ph gets to low . is there two versions of this controller? i just want to make sure i buy the right one i would hate to spend all that money on the wrong device

The controller has a set point. If the pH is lower than the set point, the CO2 is interupted. If the pH is equal to or higher than the set point, the CO2 flows normally.

Calcium reactor controller shuts off whatever is plugged into it (CO2 solenoid) if the pH gets below a setpoint (7.8 for example).
Kalk reactor controller shuts off whatever is plugged into it (kalk dosing pump) if the pH in the tank gets above a setpoint (8.4 for example).
Some controllers can do both or either action. Look around for the milwalkee one, I think it's about $100.
