 Topic: Tuesdays meeting

I was really looking forward to being at your Xmas meeting next week, but the story of my life hits again...I amscheduled to be in the hospital for knee surgery that morning, and I know my wife really doesn't like driving down to SLC from up here..........what I am getting at, I will be out of commission for that week in driving my self around... 
Does anyone live up here in the Weber County district, that is going to the party on tuesday, who would not mind giving a newbie a ride???? 
Anyways........so much for the pleading....you all have a great time if I am not there

We have 100 people coming to the meeting. Be more specific of where you live because we may have a club member just a mile from you.

I live over in Roy, just down from the cemetery, on the corner of 2300w 5400s.
Two blocks west of the middle school.

You're welcome to ride down with me, but the meeting starts about 10 am for me. I've got to pick up our guest from the airport, and organize a whole pile of raffle items.
You may want to contact Corey Price, he's in Syracuse and likely won't be leaving in the morning! |

I'll be leaving the Layton Campus of Weber at about 5:30 to head back to Salt Lake, I can get you to the meetig but I live in Magna so I can't get you home.

Well, the surgery went well, spent more time in recovery then expected.
Hate comming down off the anestesia...it really is nausiating. Was sick for the following day trying to get my act together.
The wife put the cabosh on me heading down for the meeting, she went as far as turning off the phone for a couple days to keep me in recovery undisturbed. I was pretty well hamered from all the mess I went through. Hope you all had a great time, now on to the road of recovery. A few more days out of work to get my strength in the leg.  All this meds the doc has me on makes it real tough to go out and drive with a bumb leg.

I had knee surgery...I missed two weeks of work. I was up walking on it for short periods of time (the same day). But with the pain meds, there's not a lot you can do. From one that know, good luck with the recovery.
